On 27 March, Inspire organized a workshop on the Future of SRHR at our office in Brussels. The workshop aimed to bring together key stakeholders from within and outside the SRHR community to discuss the SRHR landscape and identify key challenges and opportunities that could inform the agenda for the SRHR Partnership.
Specifically, the workshop objectives were to:
- Identify key issues in the SRHR landscape that affect the future of SRHR for CSOs that work on SRHR at both the international and domestic levels
- Define the SRHR agenda for the SRHR Partnership at both the international/global and domestic level
Sixteen participants joined us for a fruitful, all-day discussion. Participants included all Inspire's Steering Committee members, representatives from four additional member organizations (Médecins du Monde, Swedish Association of Sexuality Education, Federación de Planificación Familiar de España and YouAct), and representatives from four non-member organizations (ILGA, European Women’s Lobby, Anser/International Centre for Reproductive Health, and UNFPA – EECA Regional Office).
The workshop report is available upon request.
