As a member-led network, the Inspire supreme governing body is the Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is a deliberative meeting of member organisations held each calendar year, usually organised back to back with Inspire annual international conferences.
The 2017 AGM took place in Brussels on 25th September 2017.
Between AGMs, Inspire members delegate a Steering Committee to govern the network. This is the principal body for decision-making and governance during the year. It is accountable to the AGM, for ensuring the sound legal, financial and strategic functioning of the network.
The day-to-day management of activities and the overall coordination of the network are in the hands of a small and dedicated Secretariat. The Secretariat is based in Brussels and hosted by IPPF EN, which also serves as Inspire's fiscal agent.
